Of all the events in life there is probably nothing more memorable and important than your Wedding. To provide the perfect setting, what could be better than a wonderfully individual Country House with plenty of history and a wealth of charm and character.

The Penmorvah Manor provides all the ingredients, added individuality and appeal for your big day. Our professional and caring team will be on hand at all times to make sure that the celebration goes off without a hitch, whether it is a small family affair, a grand social occasion or an exclusive house party. The Penmorvah Manor provides the perfect setting.


Civil Marriage Ceremonies

We are delighted to cater for couples who wish to hold their wedding ceremony at the hotel; room hire charges will apply. For this element of the day, our room hire charge varies, please refer to our Wedding brochure for all charges and prices.

Once you have decided upon your date and checked availability with us, we recommend that you contact the Superintendent Registrar to reserve your date and make arrangements for the Ceremony. The Falmouth registration service can be reached by contacting;

Thereafter (and subject to availability) we would be delighted to confirm your reservation with the Penmorvah Manor Hotel, upon receipt of a non refundable £500 deposit.



Menu Selection

Creating your Wedding Breakfast Menu is easy! Please select two starters from our Wedding Brochure (a soup and one other starter), one main course dish and a vegetarian alternative together with one pudding to which we shall add Fresh Fruit Salad or Cornish Dairy Ice Creams (the per person cost of your Wedding breakfast is priced upon a three course meal). Canapés, Drinks Packages and Evening Party Buffets and supplementary items are all extra to this.

The Penmorvah Manor Hotel reserves the right to provide all food and beverage items.

Bar & Drinks

We have a recommended choice of drinks for your reception outlined within our Wedding Brochure, however should you wish to view our full wine list, then we would be happy to oblige. Regrettably, we do not offer corkage.


Cake Stand and Cake Knife

We are happy to make available a square or round cake stand and a cake knife to use on your wedding day. If you need some advice on Cake suppliers, we respectfully refer you to our Suppliers list.


Table appointments

We will happily provide crisp white linen on your Wedding Breakfast tables. Other pastel colours can be hired and we are pleased to advise you of availability, suitability and price.

For weddings offering guests a Drinks Package, we will gladly supply simple Bud vases on your tables and will print your Table Plan and Menu cards for you with pleasure, but would ask you to supply your own place cards.


Master of Ceremonies

A member of our Management team will be delighted to guide you through the formalities of the day at no additional cost.


Evening Parties

Evening Celebrations at the Penmorvah Manor are very welcome (subject to availability). Catering for up to 150 guests for a party, you are required to offer a formal buffet for all of your guests with varied room hire tariffs.

Entertainment is very welcome with music playing until 11.45pm and the bar closing shortly thereafter at Midnight. For full details, please do get in touch.

The Hotel Management reserves the right to refuse service to or remove from the premises any guest who displays unruly or intoxicated behaviour. Guests under the age of 18 must be under parent supervision and under no circumstances are permitted to consume alcohol.

The Hotel Management retains the right to refuse entry or service of alcohol to any persons under 18 years of age or who cannot provide sufficient photographic proof of age.

Further more, the Hotel Management reserve the rights to monitor and control music volume levels, ensuring a great party atmosphere but at sensible volume levels.

Accommodation requirements

For weddings of 50 or more, the Bride and Groom are invited to be our guests at the hotel for complimentary overnight accommodation and full Cornish breakfast. Wedding guests are very welcome to stay at the Penmorvah and are offered a 10% discount against the regular Hotel Tariff (Rooms are subject to availability).

Exclusive Events are welcome at the Penmorvah Manor and can be achieved by reserving all rooms within the Hotel. One night stays are most welcome but we do require Wedding guests staying over a bank holiday weekend to stay for a minimum of two nights. For further details please do ask.

The Penmorvah Manor also offers a beautiful collection of Country Cottages available to hire on a weekly tariff on self catering terms.


Bespoke Weddings

Penmorvah Weddings are bespoke and we are always on hand to guide you through all of the details, offering expert advice on suitable and competitive suppliers and special touches that will help your both create the day that you have both dreamed of.
